Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
About the job
As Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for test and quality assurance within your development team and you make sure that all new features in our products meet the requirements before they are delivered to our customers. You create both manual and automated tests when needed and you coach your team members and colleagues in testing and quality assurance methodology.
As a Senior QA Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Taking part in the process of defining new features to ensure high quality
- Testing our products to make sure that all the new features meet the requirements
- Writing test cases and scenarios for our products
- Flawless bug spotting!
- Running the automation test suite and reporting the results
- Preparing the environments for manual and automated testing
- Expanding the scope for automation tests
About you
You have a good understanding of testing activities in the Software Development Lifecycle and the ability to apply software testing concepts into practice. You have a good understanding of Agile methodologies and knowledge of testing tools and processes. In this role it is important that you share your experience and insights, and act as a mentor for less experienced teammates. We expect you to have the ability to drive and create commitment as well as manage critical thinking. You have a passion for quality and you are eager to learn new things and develop your skills.
Other qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
- 3+ years of experience working with automated tests
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
- Strong experience in UI web testing
- SQL knowledge
- University degree within computer science or equivalent area
- Practical experience with Playwright or Cypress
- Basic knowledge of programming (C# / JavaScript)
- Strong analytical skills
- Testing certificates (e.g. ISTQB), or testing-related trainings
- Practical experience in load tests
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience with Test Rail
