About the job
You will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks in the Global Finance Team, with a focus on our Sri Lanka entity. Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling core accounting operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, VAT, CIT, and payroll coordination in an international environment.
- Using our ERP system to maintain accurate financial records, generate reports, and support streamlined financial processes.
- Preparing and filing local and international tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Supporting audits and contributing to budgeting and financial forecasting efforts.
- Contributing to continuous process improvements and staying updated on changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and payroll regulations.
- Communicating financial insights and guidance to management, stakeholders, and colleagues while upholding high standards of ethics and confidentiality.
About you

You’re someone who thrives on accuracy and takes pride in spotting discrepancies before they become problems. Your problem-solving skills help you interpret financial data effectively, and you approach your work with a high level of precision. Qualifications and skills
- Solid understanding of domestic and international accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Proven experience using advanced accounting software and financial management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical standards in all financial dealings.
- Experience working with the IFS Financials module is a plus.
