Product Manager
Job description
As a Product Manager (PM) you´ll be responsible for setting the strategy and defining requirements for selected modules of our SaaS product – Novacura Flow. You will define the scope for upcoming product releases and oversee the delivery executed by a separate development team. Your mission will be to continuously evolve the product to maintain its competitive advantage and anticipate future customer needs.
Your PM role will be located among other existing Product Managers within the Product Management Division. The division consist of Product Managers, Product Owners and UX Designers / Researchers, who are jointly responsible for defining the direction for the product development, from a strategic level, down to the level of features and functional specifications.
Your goals will be:
- Assure consistent growth of the product’s recuring revenue
- Minimize customer churn
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Expand product offering & maintain its competitive advantage
- Keep customers on the latest product version
Below we’ve collected your key activities that will help you achieve these goals:
- Market research (competitive analysis, tracking of emerging technologies)
- Product strategy preparation (covering target markets, personas, product capabilities and the offering of corresponding services)
- Dialogue with customers, partners and internal stakeholders – gathering ideas for product improvements
- Decomposition of the product strategy into epics and features to be developed in the upcoming sprints.
- Close cooperation with Product Owners / UX team – supporting the definition of user stories and functional specifications
- Prioritization of epics / features / stories to be developed by the development teams, an active role in the change management processes
- General responsibility for the development of new product versions – supervision of progress and final approval
- Cooperation with Marketing, Sales and Consulting and Support departments – ensuring proper communication about upcoming changes, delivery of educational materials, definition of the scope of supportive services (such as upgrade projects, support, training)
You will also be involved in the following supportive activities:
- Participation in sales processes – consultation on specific product requirements arising from RFP/ RFQ, product presentations for key customers
- Support for Marketing – providing insights for marketing materials, delivering product presentations during events
- Contribution to convincing customers to upgrade to the new product line
- Proactive interaction with customers to measure customer satisfaction and mitigate churn risk
- Organization of training sessions for Novacura teams to present the latest product features
- Cooperation with the Support team – analysis of repetitive problems and proposing solutions
- Definition of the key product metrics to measure success and inform future decisions
Required education, experience and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of total professional experience and 5+ years of experience in software product management, preferably within a SaaS environment with a proven track record of bringing successful products to market.
- Experience in developing product strategies and producing high-quality, well-structured requirements documentation
- Good understanding of the AI technology landscape
- Understanding of the ERP market and experience in dealing with ERP systems is a plus
- Experience in shaping licensing models and pricing
- Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and convince capabilities
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with an understanding of Agile frameworks & practices
