AI Product Owner
Job description
The AI Product Owner at Novacura will be at the center of our innovative AI-powered features in our product portfolio. This role is responsible for maximizing the value of AI services for our customers.
You´ll be responsible for shaping and delivering AI-driven capabilities that enhance how workflows are created, executed, and optimized within the platform. This role focuses on identifying high-value AI use cases and ensuring that AI capabilities integrateeffectively into the platform architecture and user experience.
AI capabilities will support three primary areas within the product:
Workflow creators (advanced users): enabling faster and more intelligent workflow creation through AI-powered assistants and co-pilot capabilities within the low-code platform.
Workflow consumers (end users): providing intuitive AI-driven features that simplify task execution, automate decisions, and enhance productivity within workflow applications.
Managers and decision-makers: leveraging telemetry and process execution data to help organizations better understand workflow performance and identify optimization opportunities through AI-driven insights.
Key responsibilites
Own and manage the backlog for the AI team, defining and prioritizing epics, features, and user stories.
Translate product and business needs into AI-powered capabilities and product requirements.
Define product-level success criteria and acceptance criteria for AI-powered features.
Support AI experimentation by defining product hypotheses, expected outcomes, and evaluation criteria together with engineering teams.
Assess AI outputs from a product and user perspective to ensure solution quality.
Contribute to the development of reusable AI capabilities that support multiple product areas.
The AI Product Owner works closely with Product Managers to assist in shaping the long-term AI strategy relevant to Novacura Flow and engineering teams in testing and validation of AI-driven workflows.
Your skills and attributes
Ability to evaluate AI outputs and model behavior from a product and user perspective, ensuring solutions meet quality expectations and user needs.
Solid understanding of modern AI capabilities and limitations (e.g., LLM-based features, AI automation, or similar technologies).
Experience defining product-level evaluation criteria, success metrics, and acceptance criteria for AI-powered functionality.
Experience collaborating with engineering teams on AI experimentation, prototyping, testing, and validation of AI-driven workflows.
Experience defining and delivering AI-enabled capabilities or automation features within software products.
Understanding of the role of data in AI systems, including how data quality, datasets, and context influence AI outputs.
3-5 years of product management or product ownership experience, including work on AI-powered products, AI platforms, or AI-driven features.
Experience with ERP systems and low-code/workflow platforms is considered as an advantage.
