Camilla Caddeo – new Consulting Manager in Sweden!
Very
welcome to Novacura, how has the first weeks been?
It has been
fun but very intense, lots of new things to learn and take in. I have focused
on getting to know my team and the people behind the roles. A lot of time has
also been spent on getting to know the organization and how we work internally
as well as with our customers.
Was it
what you expected?
It´s even
better than I expected! I have a great mix of responsibilities in my role as a
Consulting Manager that I like. And the people.. to me it’s always about the
people. Novacura has a great mix of people, both gender wise, age and many nationalities
are represented.
Why did
you decide to join Novacura?
Company
values are something we may work out once and then not think so much more about
them. For me, the company's values are important, so I asked several questions
during the recruitment process about how employees and managers at Novacura
really live by these values in their daily work life.
In my short period of time here, I have seen several examples of us being brave, open-minded and that we really care about each other and our customers, and that makes me happy – I´m in the right place now 😊
Secondly, in my role as a Consulting Manager at Novacura, I have the great privilege of working both with business and operational development at the same time as I have responsibility for evolving the people in my team.
Can you
tell us a bit more about your career?
I have a
broad background with knowledge and experience from many industries and systems
of various kinds, such as e.g., ERP-, PPM- and PSA-systems.
I have worked as a Senior Business Project Manager and a Consultant for more than twenty years as well as being a Team Manager for international teams.
Looking forward to being able to contribute with my business acumen but also internally to contribute with my experiences from project management, project methodology, resource and capacity planning.
How
would you describe yourself as a person?
Always hard
to describe myself. I see
myself as fairly structured and like to follow up on things, so they are done
on time. I try to
see things positively and enter with great enthusiasm and joy in what I set out
to do.
For me, the people in my team and our customers mean a lot. I want to feel every day that I have contribute to our customers seeing the value in the products and services we deliver, that my colleagues feel good, enjoy their work and grow as people.
We also need to allow ourselves to laugh and have fun at work, because when we feel good, we perform better.
What do
you spend your time with outside work?
I bought a
summer house in the north archipelago during the pandemic. I spend my time
there learning how to grow vegetables, it’s my new hobby!
And
last, what makes you happy?
When I see
a colleague being proud of something she or he has done. That makes me very
happy!
